90.Crop and resize images online

screenshot of Pic Resize

It's just one little picture, and all you need to do is resize it. It's not worth firing-up Photoshop (or going out and buying Photoshop) to do this little job. But you can't exactly take out a pair of scissors to trim the edges off that PNG to make it fit better into your blog post. And if what you really need to do is scale it larger or smaller, there's no real-world analog for that task (wash it in really hot water?).
Pic Resize is an online service that lets you tweak your images easily and quickly. Browse through your filesystem to your image and choose it. You can do a quickie resize, or crop the image to fit. Rotate it for good measure if you like. You can even grab multiple images at a time if you're got a bunch of 'em to process. When you're all done, you can save your image as a GIF, JPG, PNG, or BMP and download it or save it to the web. And 20 minutes after your download it, they throw it all away, so you don't need to worry about your stuff just floating around out there in the Cloud.
Pic Resize is a free online service. All you need to use it is a web browser.

86.Multiply Your Computer with Userful MultiSeat Linux 2011™

Userful MultiSeat Linux 2011™

Give each student their own computer station
with the features and computing experience
of a full PC for a fraction of the cost!
There is a free computer software from a Canadian company that help you do this with simplicity.
The software turns one computer into many, allowing a single computer box to support multiple users at the same time. All you need to do is connect an extra monitor, USB keyboard and mouse to your run-of-the-mill computer box, and the Desktop Multiplier software will make it possible for two people to work on the same PC at the same time.
The reason Userful is giving away its software is to prove an environmental point and show just how much “un-tapped value lies hidden in today’s desktop PCs”.

In fact, Userful’s software will allow you to create up to 10 independent workstations from a single physical computer tower. The software is currently used around the world in schools, libraries, hotels, and other businesses.

85. Display Text On Windows Desktop Wallpaper

Today, I will be telling you about a tool with the help of which you can put some claim on the wallpapers of your desktop. It is nothing but the fake watermark which you can put on your system. Now this is nothing but a simple to tool to personalize your desktop background. In this post we will talk more about this, as it has got some of the functionalities to put some good wallpaper suitable asper the desktop background.

You can see the screenshot of the tool mentioned above; where you will see that in the middle of the application window you type the text which you want to be pasted on the wallpaper of your system. It will not change the properties of your wallpaper by permanently pasting the text over it. Now after you type the text, you can press the button Show Text where it is available.

You will find that the text will be pasted on the left hand side of the screen, you will know that there are not alignment keys to put your text in the middle of the screen, you will have to use spaces for that. Now you change the font and the color of the text, so that it should be visible against the desktop background.
Initially, the color of the text will be white and more over the way it will be printed on your screen is not that appealing, moreover to me it did not felt good keeping that text over the background, this is because the way it is posted on the screen is not good looking, it seems as a low quality image has been pasted on your system.

This tool is portable so after downloading the tool when you will launch it then you will not show up, rather you will have to take a look at the taskbar tray, where it will be minimized with a small icon, now if you want to see the application window mentioned high above in the screenshot then you will have to go the context menu of that icon and then choose the option named ‘Edit Text’, the same window will appear as discussed above, which will help you to make the changes. The tool has been checked with Windows 7 32-bit Ultimate edition and its size is less than 80 KBs, so if you face any issue while using this tool then please let us know.

84.How To Choose Webcam

When in the box, webcams all look very similar yet come within a variety of price brackets and it is only when you plug in two different webcams that you find a difference in the quality of the picture. That said, there aren’t many factors that need to be considered when choosing a webcam and if you know what you are looking for you can normally pick up a decent one at a very reasonable price. Here are 4 things to get you started on choosing a webcam:

1. Number of pixels

The number of pixels is one of the first things that people look at when choosing a camera of any sort but surprisingly the pixel ratio within new devices has come to a stage where it is difficult to be able to physically see an improvement in picture quality unless the video is going to be viewed on a 50” screen for example. A pixel resolution of 320×240 or 640×480 is adequate for general usage but for a more professional video conferencing experience you should opt for a webcam with a resolution of 1280×720 this this will allow for an impressively clear HD (High Definition) image to be transmitted which will make you seem more professional.

2. Frames per second

Frame per second determine how many pictures are shown within a second to make up the video and a faster frame rate will allow for a smoother picture. Most people find that a webcam with a frame rate of 24-30 per second is absolutely fine however if you are likely to be moving around a considerable amount for example if you want to use your webcam whilst on the go or if you are going to be using sign language to communicate then you may find that 30 frames per second misses out many of the details which you need to be conveyed. 50-60 fps will give a much smoother picture but webcams capable of producing 50-60 fps are generally a lot more expensive and many will reduce the pixel resolution in order to achieve a higher fps so there is a trade-off.

3. USB Powered

This is not as much of an issue any more since most webcams are now powered via the USB slot but if you are likely to just leave your webcam attached to your screen then you should try to avoid webcams which use batteries since the batteries tend to run out relatively quickly. Look out for USB 3 compatible devices since it has some useful power saving features built into and since slowly all devices are switching over to it.

4. Low Light Quality

Poor performance in low light settings seems to be a trait on just about all lower end webcams so you should bear this in mind if your room lacks appropriate lighting. Whilst you could opt for extra lighting, some webcams are designed to work well in low light settings such as Logitech’s RightLight webcams.

81.Hack Facebook Photos | Hack Facebook Album | Hack Facebook Images

There are three ways by which you may hack facebook photo album of your friend or other person.
:: Trick 1 ::

1. Log into facebook account.

2. Find the person's unique profile ID.

- Search for them and click view friends or send message.

- Write the unique ID from the address bar (only the numbers) or copy it in notepad.

3. Now that you have your unique profile ID you can use the next two links to view a total of 40 tagged photos:

If you wish to see tagged photos added by others use this link:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=12345678&op=1&view=all&subj=
[Unique ID]&id=[Unique ID]

If you wish to see tagged photos added by themselves use this link:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=13245678&op=1&view=user&subj=
[Unique ID]&id=[Unique ID]

Each link contains two places for [Unique ID] you simply replace this with the person’s unique ID (REMOVE THE BRACKETS IN
[Unique ID] ) that you have copied at the first step.

4. You can now see
up to 40 photos of someone on a private profile.

:: Trick 2 ::

Install the following script and view a photo in the album, even if you’re not friend of the other person whose photo album you want to see.
Get it here

:: Trick 3 ::

There is another script which places a link to view all photos of a user regardless of who tagged them. Also allows you to see photos of someone who has a private profile.
Get it here

Facebook changes their programming codes from time to time. Code working currently may not work in future.

80.Use Computer Monitor as TV | PC Monitor as Television

Following information will help you to use Computer Monitor as TV:
Cable

First of all, you need cable box with DVI or HDMI output. If you have a cable box with an HDMI output you will need an HDMI to DVI Cable (If your monitor has HDMI input you don't need it, but most do not have that facility). Next you need speakers that accept RCA audio cables (or digital, whatever kind of sound cable your cable box supports).

              Monitor

Monitor should be HDCP Compliant (High Definition Content Protection, think TV DRM). Next, it must have a DVI or HDMI input. Also, make sure that it can display at Least 720p.(Use this image as reference).
Doing Set Up

The basic set up is as follows:
One of the cable from cable box will be connected to sound box of your system and other cable (DVI or HDMI) to the monitor.

After Set Up

After setup, if you don't see any picture on your display, your cable box is probably trying to display a resolution which your monitor can not display. Find out how to enter HD setup mode, or change the maximum resolution (Get help of information manual). After you find the instructions, follow them to change the maximum resolution to the resolution of your monitor (most likely 720p). Also, if the cable box says your monitor is not HDCP compliant, either you bought the wrong kind of monitor, or it is like my setup which flashes that message everytime I turn on the monitor, but only for half a second or so.

79.How to Delete / Remove Friends on Facebook?

Face book is one of the top social networking sites in United States. Many people join it for finding new friends, old childhood friends, business partners etc.

After creating account in face book you may get friend request from people you don’t know. If you add them, later on after some chats you may think that certain person is not type of friend you are seeking.

Now the question arises
‘how to delete this annoying person from my friend list?’

There are two ways by which you can delete the unwanted friend from your face book friend list:

Solution 1:

1.  Go to person’s face book profile

2.  On left hand side there is one link named ’Remove from Friends’

facebook friend delete

3.  Click on the link. You will get confirmation box

4.  Click on ‘Remove from Friends’ option on that confirmation box

5.  You are done. The person is permanently removed from your friend list

Solution 2:

1.  Go to top of the page and look for ‘Friends’ link which is just right to your profile page link

2.  Click on ‘All Friends’ option under Friends link

3.  Look for the person you want to delete from your friend list

4.  On the right side, click on delete option as shown in picture.

facebook friend remove

Now you can relax... but keep in mind not to add the same person again in future...

78.HOW TO SET UP A CUSTOM DOMAIN ON BLOGGER IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS

1-Where you should register a custom domain?
The thing is, that there are so many domain host around. Ill list the best one here which i believe provide the best domain hosting services. Notice that if you can't get one online through credit card, you can always get one locally. You just need to consider those which provide free DNS controls along the domain hosting. Normally most of them provide free DNS settings control panel but still one can except the odd ones.

After you will register your domain through the form on any domain host's website, you need to setup the DNS (domain name settings) for your domain. So its not like, registering the name and applying it directly to the Blogger Publishing pannel. (I'll explain that later in the post).

I would recommend '
Godaddy' as they have the greatest package out there. With free unlimited email accounts etc Free email accounts mean that you would be allowed to make custom email accounts for your blog, like (contact@bloggingehow.com or support@bloggingehow.com). If you know any registrars with better packages, make sure to leave out their names in the comment section below.

2-What to do with DNS?

Now that you register through the online registration forms of the domain hosts, you will get an email where they will send you the required User ID and Password to login to your domain control panel. Ill give examples of BloggingeHow's domains host i.e '
Hostndomains'.

The procedure is almost the same with all the domain registrars except that they might call a specific option in a different way. We will deal with that.

Ok, so once you get into the control panel, you need to find a tab where it says DNS settings or something related to DNS. That's where we will set our domain settings. The DNS tab looks like this in 'HostnDomains' control panel below.

Note that we are not their affiliates that we are promoting them. Its simply to give you an idea of the control panel. Hope it helps you out.

I will attach a little
video tutorial so that you get a clear idea of the control panel. Once you are in the DNS settings, you need to setup something called 'CName'. You will find a tab or button related to that in the DNS settings. Click that and go to the link where it says 'Add new' or something related. We just want to add a new CName for our domain.

Settings:

You have to enter

'www'

where it asks for Name/subdomain (depends on what the host calls it) and

ghs.google.com
where it asks for value/target host/destination/record. 'ghs' stands for Google Hosting Service. As your blog is Blogger Hosted (free hosting) you need to enter the host address. If your blog is hosted with some other company like 'Hostgator' your value would be different.

Now that its done, click save. It will take around 1-2 day (normally takes less than a day) to activate your DNS settings.

How will you know that your DNS is activated?
You will know this when you go to the next step, i.e adding our domain to Blogger Settings. It will give error if the DNS is not activated. (It may say: domain is not setup properly or the domain is just bought)

3-Setting up custom domain in Blogger Settings

Ok so now that our blog is ready to be added to  Blogger's Settings panel, you have to go to
Dashboard >> Settings >> Publishing.

Now go to
custom domain >> Switch to advance settings. If you bought the custom domain from Blogger you don't need to go to the advance settings and you simply had to set it up from custom domain  panel.

You need to enter your domain name as follows in 'Your Domain' field.

www.yourdomainname.com

Important part is the sub domain that is (third level sub domain www). If you would not enter www and just enter yourdomainname.com Blogger will give you error.

Now tick the redirect box and save changes. It will take around 6-7 hours for the redirection to complete.
My redirection  was complete in less than 3 hours.

That's all!. Hope that was helpful.

75.How to adding your favorite image to a folder?

Dear friends here I have a very useful and interesting tip for you. Sometimes you have to face some problem to distinguish the folders because in standard configuration of window explorer each folder seems closely the similar to others.
If you want to explore your folder in windows explorer’s thumbnail view and make these folders are prominent then it is easier to distinguish using text name, for example you’re download audio files or digital photos. But if you want to add image to a folder to distinguish with others then you should choose that folder which you want to decorate.
First open Window Explorer and right click on the folder to display the folder menu. Now choose Properties option from the menu, here a new dialog windows will appear with title “Program Properties”.
Select Customize tab and click on “Choose Picture” button to add favorite image./p>
The image which you want to use navigates to that image and then clicks “Open” to view a sample of the picture inside the folder icon. Click on Ok button, if you are satisfied from that image .If you are not satisfied then choose another image.
Now at the end, go to View menu to display the folder in Explorer’s thumbnail with image.

74.View previously open Folders after Shutdown or Logoff

If you need to access lot of folders on your home computer or on the network regularly then you can set them re-open automatically, when you will login, shutdown or restart your computer next time. There is no need to open regularly used folders manually, just configure the simple sitting, your computer will automatically reload all the previously opened windows.
By default windows XP disables this option to reload automatically all the previously opened windows, when you login on, shutdown or restart your computer.
Follow the given steps to configure your computer to reload previously opened folders automatically after shutdown.
  • To edit this feature, you will need to be logged into your computer with administrative rights.
  • First click on Start button then go to Control Panel.
  • Open the “Appearance and Themes” option in control panel then click on Folder Options.
  • A small windows dialog box will appear with the title “Folder options”, click on View tab.
  • Under the Advanced setting section, scroll down to bottom and click the “Restore previous folder windows at logon” option and then click Ok button to save sitting.
  • Now when you log off, restart or shutdown, your computer will automatically open the previously opened folders from the same location as before.

70.Boot your Computer Faster

Many computers take a lot of time to boot (or start ).This is due to many reasons.

Some slight changes can do wonders for your system:

1.Press start->run then type msconfig and press enter.

Go to the startup tab. Here you will see a list of startup items. These are all the programs that automatically start when you boot your PC. It is these that slow down the boot up process.

So uncheck all the unwanted items like ms-office, messengers other utilities that u may not need at startup). Don't uncheck your antivirus software.

Restart your Pc to and see for yourself, your pc will now boot faster....

2.A great new feature in Microsoft Windows XP is the ability to do a boot defragment. This places all boot files next to each other on the disk to allow for faster booting. By default this option is enabled, but on some systems it is not, so below is the information on how to turn it on:

Go to Start Menu and Click Run
Type in regedit then click ok
Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dfrg\BootOpt imizeFunction"
Select "Enable" from the list on the right
Right on it and select "Modify"
Change the value to Y .
Reboot your Pc and see the change yourself.

3.SPEED UP BOOT BY DISABLING UNUSED PORTS.!!
You may have tried many tweaks like modifying windows XP start-up applications, prefetches, unload DLLs method, etc. And yes those methods do work for me.
I have just accidentally found out another way to give you an extra boost in windows XP's boot performance. This is done by disabling your unused devices in
Device Manager. for example, if you don't have input devices that are connected to one of your USB's or COM ports, disabling them will give you an extra performance boost in booting. Go to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware tab -> device manager Disable devices that you don't use for your PC and then restart
.

There are two places at least where ProductId gets stored. To see the first place, open Registry by going to START-RUN and entering REGEDIT and Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]. In right pane, look for key by the name "ProductId". This is your Windows Product Id.
